Zuleika Minnis
Zuleika Minnis is no stranger to the spotlight. After graduating from Oral Roberts University, where she studied dance and performing arts, Zuleika landed her first touring musical role in Roofless. Honing her skills and versatility, Zuleika has graced the screen in tv & film projects such as Little Shop of Horrors and To Kill a Mockingbird. She also appears in the film, Identity Thief. Zuleika hails from White Plains, New York and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Gloria Daniel
Gloria Daniel is a 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force, having served around the world as a program manager for state-of-the-art communication systems. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Psychology and will soon graduate with a Master of Arts in Theology from Saint Leo University. Gloria is the author of the upcoming book Your Life Ain’t That Much Different Than Mine. She is an editor, writer and lover of the arts who indulges in classical music, meditation, yoga, journaling and intercessory prayer. Gloria aspires to become a hospital chaplain. Her motto is: “Nothing is out of reach.”
Charlena Thorpe
Charlena Thorpe is a patent attorney with over 18 years of experience. Charlena received her law degree from Emory University as well as engineering degrees from Georgia Tech where she is a lecturer. Born and raised in Macon, GA, Charlena currently resides in Atlanta. She is President and Founder of Incorporating Innovation, LLC. where she helps clients protect their ideas and build businesses around their ideas.
Kerri J. Baldwin
Kerri J. Baldwin has an accomplished background as an actress, voice over artist, and television sports reporter. After earning a BA in Communications/Journalism from the University of Maryland, Kerri began a career in Sports Journalism. In NYC, she covered the NY Knicks for NBC; worked as a page for Saturday Night Live; and served as a production assistant for Tom Brokaw on The NBC Nightly News. She is now an actress with over a dozen SAG and Indie films, including Skinned with Lisa Raye McCoy and Still the King, produced by Billy Ray Cyrus. Kerri is most known as the Spokesperson for Harvey’s Supermarkets in both commercial and voice over spots. Look for her as Tan in the television comedy pilot THEM, created by Towonda Kilpatrick and Raymond Raffety.
Shirley A. Langley
Shirley A. Langley CPA graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas. The third of fifteen children in rural Arkansas and raised by parents who were entrepreneurs, she began employment with the Internal Revenue Service and passed the CPA exam on her first attempt which led to her opening the doors to Shirley Langley, CPA. Twenty-five years later, the Office of Shirley Langley, CPA provides services to several prominent clients and prides itself on quality service for EVERY client. Shirley’s business and civic affiliations include: The National Coalition of 100 Black Women MECCA Chapter; The Stewart Foundation; West End CID; West End Merchants Association; and Atlanta Business League. Professional memberships include: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants; and GSCPA Peer Review Program. She has four children and one grandchild.
Brooke Tiera
Brooke Tiera is a pop culture entertainment model, brand ambassador, and host. She has been modeling since age six, was active in drama while in school, and loves everything about the arts. At the age of 15, she starred in Towonda Kilpatrick’s production Mama, I’m Your Child. She has never looked back, having appeared in the sitcom, Complicated Loleta and as a Trio Girl in Towonda Kilpatrick’s Cheezecake Boiz and the Diva. She is excited to have completed an internship at Radio One with Darlene McCoy. Brooke is honored to be part of what Dignity has to say to all women who suffer from mental illness.
Michelle Taylor Willis
Michelle Taylor Willis is an award-winning businessperson, coach, and speaker. She is a highly focused business leader with a proven success record in selling, training, development, and leadership. Michelle serves as an avid community volunteer and sits on and/or chairs several boards of directors and advisory boards. In 2017, South Fulton County’s Chamber of Commerce named her Outstanding Businessperson of the Year which followed her being honored as Small Business of the Year in 2016. Moreover, Michelle was recognized as A Woman of Influence and Impact in 2016 and one of 2018’s 100 Most Influential Women in Georgia.
Rebecca J. Franklin
Rebecca J. Franklin is the founder and chief marketing officer of Women Works Media Group, an award-winning marketing, publishing and special event company in business since 1990. WWMG is the parent company for Women Looking Ahead Magazine. Franklin is a sought after marketing executive and is known for creating and producing award winning conferences, award ceremonies, and black-tie galas for corporate executives, lawyers, and judges. Franklin resides in Alpharetta, GA. Her life’s biggest joy is her three-year old granddaughter, Grace, whom she affectionately calls her “Morning Sunshine.”
Nicole Haig
Dr. Nicole Haig MD, MBA is a mother of four and a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who has practiced medicine for eighteen years. She has had a diverse career as a clinician, administrator, professor, and lecturer. Dr. Nicole has received multiple humanitarian & philanthropist, women’s empowerment, and community service awards for her unwavering commitment to giving.
Dr. Nicole does mission work in the US and abroad. She also volunteers her time working with students from the elementary through college level with multiple organizations, including the Special Olympics. Dr. Nicole is an entrepreneur and author. She is in the middle of three book projects slated for release in 2019. Based on her passion to teach people to take better care of themselves physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially, she created The Pulse, a multimedia company with the same focus.
Dr. Nicole has appeared on The Amazing Race, Untold Stories of the ER, Sex Brought Me to the ER, and Complications.
Dani Guevarez
Dani Guevarez is ecstatic to be working with Towonda Kilpatrick on Dignity. She is returning to the stage after pursuing her education. Dani has spent 10 years performing off and on for local audiences and loves every moment. When she does a film, her favorite words are “Action” and “Cut.” Dani’s previous work includes You’s a Fool; work with a comedy improvisation troupe; and commercials for Optimum Productions. She also appears on several music streaming sites.
QueShan Hayes
Q.Solomon (Queshan Hayes) started his acting career behind the cameras of an independent film titled “Keith and Greg” in which he starred as the leading man. He later found himself behind the lens of another independent film titled “Consequences” in which he portrayed “Glen,” a crazed/confused ex-boyfriend of the leading lady. He also appeared in a Nascar Gillette commercial as one of the Pit Crew Classic Guys representing Atlanta, GA in Pit Crew Contest. He has also appeared as an extra in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” and “House of Payne” and was a featured extra in the opening of Mr. Perry’s studios in Atlanta, GA. He has appeared in several local plays including: “The Real ATL” “Ain’t No Power Like Prayer” “Baggage Claim” “Will A Real Man Please Stand” and “Christmas Just Ain’t Christmas.” He most recently starred in his church’s play “When Sunday Comes” as a wayward son who finds his way back to God. He is also an avid writer and spoken word artist from South Carolina who enjoys traveling and surrounding himself with positive and goal oriented people.
Brandon Turner
Brandon Turner is a local Atlanta artist originally from Compton, California. He is a self taught art educator and has received most of his artist mentorship here in Georgia working with a range of mediums. Some include oil paint, acrylic paint, chalk pastel, water color, graphite, charcoal etc. Most of his childhood inspiration came from Marvel’s comics, Disney, and Dragon Ball Z. After learning how to shade with pencil from practicing drawing cartoon characters realism became his favorite style. He enjoys and makes all types of art; body art, caricatures, airbrush, tattoos, graffiti, chalk, and more. Brandon is a high school art teacher specializing in paintings, portraits, and cartoons and enjoys painting in all styles but has two favorites; abstract and surrealism.
Gwen Waymon
Gwen Waymon has been working in the entertainment industry and based in the Atlanta area for 15+ years; mostly in front of the camera in film/television and commercials as well as voice over.
Only weeks ago she performed in the fundraiser stage production of “The Vagina Monologues” and its’ companion piece “A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer” at Outfront Theatre which benefited Camp Cadi, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the silence of childhood sexual abuse.
Past projects have been a guest starring role in the TV series Hap & Leonard (Sundance Channel) where she portrayed the role of “Turquoise”; a no-nonsense Mom from around the way and Miracles From Heaven; a feature film starring Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah where she was “Nurse Dianne”. Other film & television credits include The Rosa Parks Story (CBS) starring Angela Bassett and Cicely Tyson where she played the role of college professor “Joanne Robinson”, Army Wives as “Elena”, a 911 operator (Lifetime Network), America’s Most Wanted, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and various other roles over the years. Commercials, training videos and voiceover work include a national commercial for Sonic Restaurant and local & regional commercials for TaxSlayer, The Cartoon Network, TripSource, Georgia Power, Publix, Coca Cola, AT&T, FedEx, Chick-Fil-A and many others.
Gwen has also worked in the industry behind the scenes as a writer, producer and director of her own projects; one in particular, #Nappy, a song and music video parody of the Pharrell Williams’ song Happy. A cute and funny project poking fun at us African American women and the “drama” we sometimes go
through as well as the pride that we take in our hair in its’ natural state. She took on this project to challenge herself and to determine if she could accomplish writing, producing and directing a project of her own and is extremely grateful to those who participated and very proud of the completed project which can be viewed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1d3wbc51fc8
She has also been behind the scenes in other independent projects as Co-Producer, 1 st AD and Production Manager and is very excited and grateful to be working with such a talented group on this very important, timely and worthwhile production.
Donna Paige Riley
Donna Paige Riley also known as the “Etiquette Lady” and “Voice Over Queen,” is an inspirational and motivational coach, emcee, narrator and voice talent. She is the founder of Paige’s Etiquette Seminars, L.L.C., a company specializing in public speaking and socialization training.
With over 25 years in the etiquette and image fields, Donna is nationally recognized as an etiquette expert and public speaking coach, has traveled extensively training and speaking around the country, and has also been a guest on several radio and television programs such as Good Day Atlanta, Atlanta Live, Business in the Black with Marjorie Coley, The Michael Baisden Show, and WSB’s Perspectives hosted by Condase Pressley to name only a few. Her business etiquette expertise has also been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine and From a Woman’s Perspective Magazine.
Donna is an avid reader and writer, has written numerous commercial scripts, columns, articles and is the author of the “What is Etiquette Anyway” book series, with more titles to come.
With a passion for the arts including voice talent, she is no stranger when it comes to serving as a narrator and emcee. It is a natural fit.
Donna lives by the Golden Rule, which is the first rule of etiquette: Treat others the way you want to be treated and she encourages you to do the same.
Tony Bravado
Tony Bravado is from Harlem, New York and currently resides in Atlanta, Ga. You may remember him as recurring character DarKanian LeJohnson on BET’S “Let’s Stay Together”, in which he played a professional football player who tried to hide the fact that he was gay. Tony went on to have a three year stint on the show.
He’s also had a recurring role on Tyler Perry’s ” The Haves and The Haves Nots”. He’s also had guest appearances on CW’s “The Originals”, HBO’s “Vice Principals”, Discovery ID’s “Detective Joe Kenda, Homicide Hunter “, and most recently FOX’s hit show “The Resident” . He also recently just finished his first independent movie “Thicker ThanBlood”, in which he played a character trying to hide from his family that he just contracted HIV.
When he’s not doing TV or film, you can also catch him performing sketch comedy or doing impersonations such as Donald Trump, Denzel Washington, and Robert DeNiro to name a few. He recently started a sketch comedy impersonating group called “The Chameleons”. Look out for them real soon!!
He’s trained at The Company Acting Studio under Lisina Stoneburner and is currently coached by acting coach Nicky Buggs.
